Mumbaikars

Mumbaikars
Residents of Mumbai, India.

The Indian Express reported:

Mumbaikars, known for living in the fast lane, are struggling to come to grips with the grisly terrorist attacks which have left the spirit of this usually bustling city scarred.
The Guardian had an interesting take on the use of the names Mumbai and Bombay by the British media, and in web searches:
Until this week, the terms Mumbai and Bombay were fairly interchangeable for British web users, as a 90-day analysis of Google Insights for Search reveals. But by Tuesday November 25 - the day before the attacks by Islamist militants began - Google UK was dealing with twice as many searches for Mumbai as for Bombay.
